Cool for cats…

If you reside in the UK, you’ll have been very aware of the heatwave this week. Previously, I’ve posted blogs with tips on how to help keep your cats cooler in hot weather, and I’ve also posted about the Sure PetCare catflaps that are microchip-activated. (The cat flaps have developed more advanced technology over the years, and the most recent edition connects to a hub that delivers information via an app to your phone.)

The newest invention added to the Sure Petcare range is the Felaqua. The Felaqua monitors your cats water intake and so, gives you a better idea of if there are any changes in their behaviour regarding how much they are drinking. If you have cats, you’ll be aware that this particular question is often asked by vets as a change in their behaviour with their consumption can sometimes help the vet make a diagnosis.

Obviously, as well as this information being useful in that instance, it can also be beneficial as reassurance when the warmer weather hits that your cat is drinking enough.
