Green and pleasant land…an update on plant labelling in the UK.
Back in August 2020, I wrote a blog about how featuring toxicity levels of plants on their sale labels would be beneficial to people with companion animals, and potentially life saving to animals themselves.
Some cats are, by nature, nibblers. They taste plants out of curiosity. And in some cases that’s a harmless pastime; with others, it most definitely isn’t.
A few supermarkets responded to emails positively but unfortunately nothing changed, so I created the petition in the link below to try and push for it to be a legal requirement.

If enough people sign the petition, it will be debated in parliament. And if a law is passed, it has the potential to save lives.
The right plants can enhance a cats life….
