Día de los Muertos…

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a traditional and Indigenous celebration that honours and welcomes those who have died back to the physical world. It begins on October 27th and ends on November 2nd. I recently learned that when the celebration begins in October, the first date is to specifically mark beloved animal family that have passed on and it is said they return to visit for 24 hours. Most people light a candle to show their respect and commemorate the love that still exists for them.
