This year I invested in a toy called Cats Meow which is manufactured by JML.

I think every cat carer who purchases toys like this is remarkably dubious initially and opens the product with trepidation; so many times you see a toy and it seems like it will be a massive hit….then you find your cat shows infinitely more interest in the packaging.

Thankfully, this seems to actually be something worth investing in financially. At least for the majority of our feline residents.

The toy has three different speed settings and movements. It is remarkably easy to store away and set back up. And the parts aren’t so flimsy that the cats destroy it on initial impact.

The movement of the wand means the cats are able to exercise their instinct to hunt as it appeals primarily to their prey drive, and the speed and direction settings are varied enough to ensure that they don’t become bored by the repetitive behaviour of the prey.

 

If you’re looking for a fun toy to get your feline family for the festive season, this, to me is ideal. It retails at around £10 in the UK, and I can utterly recommend it.
