Unexpected feline friendships….

In the spirit of St Valentines Day that was obviously earlier this month, I thought I’d write a little about some of the unexpected feline friendships that have been extended to animals of other species.

Having witnessed a bond develop between a beautiful foster rabbit I cared for called Storm and my rather naughty Wee Free Man, Darwin, I can honestly say that the theory all cats are aloof, standoffish animals is very ill founded. (As I’m sure most cat lovers already know….) Hopefully this short footage of them playing together will work:

Everyone needs a little love, and these stories are a wonderful illustration of interspecies friendships  that have occurred despite it being rather unlikely. Hopefully they made you smile as much as they made me.
