Housework with a feline family sucks…..
I recently had the good fortune to be allowed to make use of a vacuum cleaner that I’ve been impressed by the concept of for some time, and it didn’t disappoint me.
The GTech Air Ram K9 Mk2 if you are able to afford the cost is more than worth obtaining for a home that is shared by felines.
It’s extremely lightweight, which is its first huge advantage over other cleaners. Then there’s t he fact that it instead of having to navigate cleaning your home being mindful of power points, you can charge the vacuum cleaner up. It’s a simple concept, but it’s hugely advantageous in terms of practicality, and I’m not entirely sure why it wasn’t brought on to the market some time ago. My cats were actually remarkably unphased when it was in use too; due to the fact there’s infinitely less noise made by it than most cleaners on the market.
Lastly, and this is the biggest advantage…..it actually picks up animal fur. Instead of just moving the fur around on the carpet with the cleaner head, it has enough power to ensure that everything is picked up and not just the debris that hasn’t adhered itself to the carpet fibres in an infuriating fashion.
The cleaner also has a built in fragrance filter so the house smells fresher after you’ve finished. The only down side I can think of to it is that it doesn’t hold a lot. But that’s a small price to pay for a good quality vacuum cleaner that quite honestly is vastly superior at coping with animal fur to any other machine I’ve ever used.
Because not all cats are quite this relaxed about vacuum cleaners….
