The Great Escape…
Following on from my previous blog, I read about a rather interesting character called Quilty who was apparently a resident at the Friends For Life Animal Rescue, Houston. When Quilty was in their care, he wasn’t a fan of being confined to the senior room and repeatedly managed to escape confines. Because the senior room is a shared space, he obviously set the other cats free in the rescue premises too.
Quilty was then put in to solitary while the staff worked on the reintroduction process for the feline residents, and Quilty escaped those confines too.

This made me wonder if Quilty simply wanted human company as a preference to feline, and now that he has it whether he’ll feel less compulsion to make a bid for freedom.
