The Watering Hole…a review

Following on from the previous post regarding fear aggression, one of the things we noticed our relative newcomer was doing regularly was sitting in front of the communal drinking fountain all the feline residents share.

Obviously that was going to be detrimental to their living environment, so it was decided we’d invest in a second fountain. More resources would hopefully result in less tension and potentially reduce any possible confrontations.

After doing a little online searching, I found that Aldi was offering a drinking fountain in their pet supplies promotion.

Manufactured by Cat Mate, the fountain retails on their site at £19.99. It’s compact, easy to assemble and to maintain. It’s also minimally invasive in terms of noise from the pump. If you’re looking for a fountain for your cats, I’d highly recommend it.
