The more you know….
During the last year, there have been a few articles published regarding the possibility of cats being carriers of the virus. This led to concern about the best way to ensure the safety of a feline family member during the pandemic, as well as some being concerned about their own safety around their cats. With this in mind, the British Veterinary Association published a statement to try and reassure people regarding the matter. You can find a statement by the BVA here:
More recently, there was an article published by the BBC online. The article contains findings by scientists at the University of Glasgow that establish cats are more at risk of contracting the infection from humans, rather than the other way around. The article can be found by following this link:
